Alter: 48; Bergführer, Pächter des Bergtörlhauses. War mit Ausheben von Löchern beschäftigt für das Aufstellen von Telefonmasten. Eine Steinlawine löste sich und traf das Opfer. Dies wurde erst am nächsten Tag entdeckt. Ein ähnliches Schicksal traf seine 2 Brüder (Veit: Sturz in Gletscherspalte 25.7.1906 und Lawinenopfer Lorenz 14.12.1907; nicht erwähnt: Ihre Stiefmutter Selbstmord am 3.1.1912 nach Tod des Mannes und Vaters der Söhne am 15.5.1911 an Lungenentzündug).
