Alter: 47; Arbeiter, wollten mit einer Zille Sand auf das rechte Innufer führen. In der Mitte des Flusses kippte das Boot um und alle drei Männer fielen ins Wasser und ertranken. Die Leiche von Oresing konnte noch nicht geborgen werden. Sailer stammte aus Inzing, deTaffolo ist Italiener, Oresing stammte aus der Region Görz. Die Leiche von Oresing wurde am 28.2.1898 200m von der Unglücksstelle entfernt aufgefunden.
