Alter: 38; Gastwirt und Besitzer des Gasthauses „Zum weißen Kreuz“. Wollte am 26.12. einen Zechpreller anhalten, wurde von dem aber mit einem Messer in den Bauch gestochen. Der Täter, Michael Mangst (52 Jahre), Bäckergehilfe aus OÖ wurde sofort verhaftet. Opfer starb am folgenden Tag. Schwurgerichtsverhandlung am 10.3.1891 gegen den Täter. Dieser war schon 15x vorbetraft. Urteil: 6 Jahre schwerer Kerker.
