Alter: 30; Fährmann wollte bei Zirl mehrere Personen auf das andere Ufer des Inns befördern. Durch das Hochwasser riss das Führungsseil und die Überfahrer stürzten ins Wasser. Ein Knecht und der Kurat von Leutasch kamen in den Fluten um. Die Leiche von Kathrein wurde am 7.8. bei St. Margarethen aus dem Inn geborgen. Wurde im Ortsfriedhof begraben.
