Alter: 27; Zuckerbäckergehilfe aus Innsbruck. Unternahm mit 2 Kollegen einen Aufstieg vom Salzkogel gegen die Samoarhütte. Stürzte in eine Gletscherspalte, wobei er mit dem Kopf auf eine Eisbrücke stieß. War sofort tot. Seine Leiche wurde erst am 8.4. geborgen und nach Innsbruck zur Beerdigung gebracht.
