In Vils wohnen in 96 Häusern 113 katholische Familien mit 499 Personen, in Musau in 25 Häusern 29 Familien mit 152 Personen, somit in beiden Ortschaften 651. Zum Militärdienst sind in Vils 11 Mann und in Musau 7 Mann konskribiert, von den 79 Pferden nur 4. Insgesamt gibt es 26 Ochsen, 269 Kühe und 204 Jungrinder.
