Dem Regiment wird wegen der Pfarrdotation sowie dem Jus nominandi und praesentandi berichtet, daß in Vils nur ein Pfarrer sei. Vor etwa 350 Jahren sei Vils als Filiale vom St. Mang-Gotteshaus in Fiessen providiert worden. Auf Antrag der Herren von Hochenegg wurde mit Konsens des Augsburger Bischofs ein Pfarrer installiert. Die Aufnahme eines Pfarrherren war an das jus nominandi der Herren von Hochenegg und an das jus praesentandi des St. Mang-Gotteshauses gebunden.
